CLAYTOBER 2023
For the third year in a row, we are hosting this annual event for the creatives around the world that share the love of sci-fi designs, character creation and visual storytelling!
This year we are organizing throughout October 2023 an art challenge for creating designs of GOLEMS and ROBOTS based on the daily and weekly prompts.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
Throughout October there will be daily prompts to inspire you, but if you miss a day do not despair as we also have weekly challenges as well. If you miss those too, nothing to worry, enjoy creating your golems and robots as long as you need, we know how much attention and care they require <3
Once you are happy of your progress or finish your drawing/painting/model, make sure to post it on social media with hashtag #claytober and #claytober2023 and check what fellow claymancers have been making!
2023 PROMPTS
THE CLAYTOBER CHALLENGE
We do not have preferences on the artform, material and technique you wish to use for #claytober as we wish YOU to explore and learn new techniques to extend your skillset.
As a suggestion here are the weekly challenges:
WEEK 1 - Lines, and lines, and lines
Drawing challenge with pen, ink, colored pens, markers, whatever you wish, as long as it is drawing.
WEEK 2 - Brush all the way!
Painting challenge in aquarelle, gouache, tempera, oil or ink, again whatever medium you prefer as long as you use brush and have fun while doing it.
WEEK 3 - It will work, just glue it together!
Collage challenge - feel free to experiment with cutouts and pieces of different materials in creating your artwork.

Digital art challenge - create your pieces as 2D or 3D, still or animated digital work.
